How do I finish setting up my profile?
The profile panel on your dashboard tracks three steps and shows you which are left.
The three steps
- Details such as your name and the rest of your profile information
- Profile photo
- Cover photo
Select a step from the panel to go straight to it.
What the panel shows as you go
Before you start, it lists all three steps. Once you have done some of them, it shows what is still outstanding. When you finish the last one, it shows a confirmation for about a day, then settles into a plain welcome.
Why it is worth doing
Your profile is what other members see in the directory and in discussion groups. A profile with a photo and complete details is easier for people to connect with.
Frequently asked questions
The confirmation message disappeared. Did something go wrong?
No. It shows for about 24 hours after you finish and then clears on its own.
Can I change my photos later?
Yes, from your account settings at any time.
