Where did the menu go?
Goose used to have two menus: a bar across the top and a sidebar down the left. They are now one menu, on the left.
Where everything is
Everything that was in the top bar is now in the left sidebar, alongside what was already there. Nothing was removed.
Your profile menu has not moved. It is still in the top right corner.
Giving yourself more room
The sidebar is open by default and can be collapsed, which leaves more space for the page you are reading. It stays collapsed until you open it again.
On a phone or tablet
The sidebar becomes a menu button. Opening it shows all menu items along with your profile menu, so everything is in one place.
Frequently asked questions
A menu item I used has disappeared. Where is it?
Check the sidebar, including whether it is collapsed. If an item has a lock icon beside it, that content is outside your membership rather than removed. See Why do I see a lock on a hub or a resource category?
Why did this change?
Two menus meant guessing which one held what you wanted. One menu gives you a single place to look.
